Lisa and Dennis

Lisa and Dennis are a week and a half away from their wedding and seemed SO relaxed at their recent engagement session. I have to admit I would have been a little more anxious. I hope that this great weather holds out for all of the October weddings. It made this session so easy and so fun...great weather...relaxed couple...what more could a photographer want!

Lindsey and Nathan

What a fun day! Lindsey and Nathan were relaxed, happy and so easy to work with. Don't you love her dress. The bridal party was beautiful and willing to do anything that was asked of them. The wedding was at 2nd Presbyterian and the reception was at the Glassworks. Downtown is always a great place for pictures.

Congratulations Lindsey and Nathan.

Elisha and Mitchell

I have known Elisha and her family for many years so it was an honor to be able to photograph her wedding. The day was beautiful but the bride was radiant. I especially like the picture of Elisha and her mom...probably because I know how close their relationship is and I know the emotion of the day. It is pretty overwhelming when your first child makes that kind of a commitment.

They went to the east coast for their honeymoon. I hope that they have not had too much hurricane effect.

Blessings on your marriage!

Lauren and Brandon

Once again...I know...it seems like I always say this...but...it's true...I have the pleasure of meeting such exceptional people. I had a great time with Lauren and Brandon. If all my clients have as much fun as I do on these shoots I would be extatic. I have had an unusual run of men that are natural and unintimidated by the camera. Brandon and Lauren are getting married in October so the wedding date is approaching quickly!

Have fun with all of the preparations!!!!

Amy and Jared

Don't you love the dogs! Well, it is obvious to anyone that Amy and Jared LOVE their dogs. It made for a fun engagement session. Suffice it to say the dogs weren't as interested in getting their pictures taken as the couple was. I am really looking forward to Amy and Jared's wedding. They are such a genuine and likeable couple, I know that the wedding day will be a great day.

Melissa and Michael

Melissa and Michael didn't do the traditional cake...they had cupcakes and they were a hit with everyone. They also had cute little take home boxes for them.

I think that children are the best subjects. I especially like the pic that Melissa (my partner) got of the flower girl with the Barbie Bride!

To me the theme of Melissa and Michael's weddding day was a celebration of relationships. It was centered around Melissa who has a wonderful, warm, and embracing personality. What I saw through the lense was her relationships...with her son, her friends (of which there are many), her family, and of course with Michael. It was a delightful day and I am fortunate to have been able to share that day with them. I would also like to say thank you to another Melissa...my friend and photographer...you're great to work with and you get GREAT pictures.

Adrienne and Jared

The reception was held at "The Grand". It is one of the most lovely venues on this side of the river. For those of you who don't know...they converted an old movie theatre into a beautiful hall. Adrienne and Jared just fit the mood perfectly.

This was a fun shot. They met at the Chicken House and wanted some pictures in front of the restaurant on their wedding day. I just love that real romantic sentiment.

I love this picture. It shows Adrienne's true sense of adventure. She was willing to do everything that I asked of her. That doesn't always happen but it sure makes for fun images.

I wanted to end this blog with this picture of Adrienne. I was so impressed with her classic beauty. It is no wonder that Jared fell for her. Best wishes and blessings to you in the many, many years to come.

Chelsea and Matt

Hello to all,

I got back in town late last night after a glorious trip to Europe. I can't even count the gigabytes of pictures that I took. When I get caught up on my wedding pics I want to share some of them with you. I need to apologize to Chelsea and Matt for taking so long to get some of their wonderful wedding pictures online. The blog server was down on the Sunday after their wedding and I left early, early Monday morning.

Chelsea and Matt's wedding was a pleasure to be a part of...their Christian faith and their love for one another was the true picture of what a wedding is supposed to represent. I loved every minute of working with them. Enjoy a few of their pictures
